|
|
Thank you for all of the input on my previous thread! I decided to ask this in a new topic to avoid cluttering the old one more than I have already
Which deflection boards can be used on a NEC 9100 without causing issues/damage?
Is there a preferred method of matching them up? I have 1W0 system board and 1X3 deflection board in the PJ at the moment.
Thanks in advance for any help!

From what I've heard you need a 6PG+ or a 9PG+ board. If using the 6PG+ you will subjected to the the lower scan limit. It shouldn't be a problem if you are doing 720p. Some 9PG+ def boards have a second daughter board in the lower right hand corner. From what I'm seeing they are most likely usable but I've never tried it myself so no guarantees.

Thanks Greg!
I remember you had already told me that your deflection board does not have the second daughterboard. Can you confirm that it has the number 72137094? Just want to make sure the rev is the same.
Cheers,
Dan
