Is it possible to read Bluray disks, via a network share, on my Vista machine FROM my XP machine? The drive is mounted in the XP box. If possible, would bandwidth be limiting?

I'm interested to see if this would work too.

Regarding SD DVD, I have had no problem but last night/today I was able to have the dual format drive recognized and mounted as a local drive on my client (Vista). PDVD8 sees the mounted drive as local and I can play HDDVD/Bluray via ethernet. I still need to check performance, etc. tomorrow. The solution for me was a free client software (Starport) and server package (Starwind -not sure yet if it is free-may time out as a trial). So far, so good!

I have loaded DVD ISO files on the network into a local Daemon Tools PC and played them just fine. I wonder if the same can be done for more elaborate ISO files.
