How do I go about replacing the caps on my convergence board. Do I replace all of them< some of them ???

Forgive the question, but what are these "caps" everyone is talking about? Capacitors?

Leave the goddamn thing alone and work on the SETUP first.

I felt dumb asking it, but I hadz ta know! I haven't done anything with electronics since like grade 10... which was like 18 years ago. I'm used to be really good at soldering, but I have ZERO clue when it comes to lingo. Keep in mind I was a cook by trade and for 8 years now I've been a desk jockey.

So, I cut out all the capacitors out with scissors and put them in the sink with cold water... now what?
