Well, an estimated 5-8 day installation and 2 day driving each way turned into 1 day driving each way and a 3 day install! Everything worked exactly as planned for a change, nice when you're 15 hours out of town... I'll post pix later.

I drove 1331 Km (831 miles) to get home yesterday, it was a 20 hour day for me. Training at the facility on how to use the various sound systems, then driving the 831 miles to get home. Satellite radio, coffee and a lot of junk food works wonders to make the drive entertaining.

I've got 185 emails to wade through, bear with me... Thumbs Up

(kitchen looks effing AWESOME though, Sparky did a phenomenal job, before and after pictures will be posted in a different thread. It's gone from a utilitarian kitchen for the last 6 years to..... 'eclectic'. I love it!)

I am doing an installation out of town, way out of town from October 19 to about the 31. No internet (I think) or cellular access during that time. I'm more or less up to date on sending out parts and repairs, save for the 4 boxes that came in today... I'll post pix of the wildlife that I see when I get back.

Curt's going clubbing!!

Have a safe trip Curt.

I went way north about 2 years ago. Spent about 6 hours looking for bear. No such luck. This time I'm driving up. I want to see a damn bear and a moose. I'll shoot them with my camera.

Oh, a couple of favorite shots of the last time I went north:

A random abandoned dump truck on a logging road, and the system I put in last time. I'm expanding it this time...

And while you're there, play some golf. Most fun I've had on a golf trip.

Golf at Whistler was nice but golf at Furry Creek on the way to Whistler was amazing.

I saw this one last year at Whistler. Those aren't real bears anyways, they are planted there to attract and eat tourists like you guys..... Mr. Green

This fine specimen is a REAL bear. Taken just east of Blue River BC, at the side of the highway at about 7:30 AM last year.

Golf at Furry Creek was amazing. The best line of the trip was by the bag boy in the parking lot. He was asked, "When will the sun shine?" His responce was, "Sun????????????"

We were at the 19th hole when the locals were talking about the designer. One of them said he had asked the man what he thought when they asked him to build a golf course there. f*ck*** Nuts was his response.

yeah its a weird place to build a golf course.
I find it always cold when I go through there. probably because of the big ass hill shadows it.
I've never played that course but for some reason when I drive through I always feel like I need to stop and just play the course.

Yes, but it's fine if you play through to completion. Thumbs Up

We got something for everyone here, outside of Victoria you can play on Bear Mountain, I hear the course can be real slippery.

Actually I believe that's Elizabeth Manley of Manley labs. I'm a bit younger than that..Smile I'd assume that's her dad next to her.

After her dad died, she continued with the company. They make recording studio grade amps n'stuff, all out of tubes.
