No, no, no. Jeremy, you know the rules. A 1200x is a hella nice projector, but it does NOT qualify for "YOU SUCK"dom.

So, uh, you stink!! Laughing

Ooops I read that as a Zenith 900 with 1200 hours. Pardon my dyslexic capabilities.

Snif snif, nope just got outta the shower.

Congrats on the new PJ! Those tubes do look sweet.

Not just Kal. You can also hang out with Walter (WTS), and a few other (lucky) Zenith 1200x Pro owners.

Set it up in about 20 minutes and am now bored Very Happy The picture looks great and only need to fine tune the
diagonal focus. First projector I have had that all I needed to to do was put on 6500K Contrast 52 Brightness 35
on a 159" screen in a bat cave. Those short throw lense's are perfect for my application.

Thanks for the comments

Any negative impact from lack of corner focus adjust, or no lens flapping?

I assume you're running it at 1080i @something-or-other?

Congrats.

I loved the short throw on those. One of the few PJs that I could have the front row and the elevated second row just where I wanted them in relation to the screen.

Good luck and enjoy.

Yup. The short throw is nice and is the only reason why I don't have a 9" machine up there now.

Welcome to the club!

Corner focus is good and don't see a problem with desktop text but I feel I can get it better with a little adjusment..
I use an HTPC with LG combo and the new
Visontex All in wonder HD for off air and have zero operating problems. The only adjustment I made to the
computer was to bump gamma 1.35 everything else left to factory settings. Like I said earlier what a easy transition
to a new projector.

Glad to hear all is well with the Zenith and is fitting into your application. Wish I could have used used it. How's the BG808 doing?

Jimmy I am doing great!
The Zenith is a fantastic machine and was a breeze to setup. I have all the raster
used up 159" screen and couldn't be happier. My brother in law is thrilled with the 808 and we should
have the setup in a week or two.
Seen Ed Fowler today and we were talking about the 4 party deal!
Good times in deed.
How are you enjoying all of those G70 parts? Have you got the tubes swapped out yet?

159" screen and constrast only at 52? That must be pretty dim! What gain is your screen? Have your measured your light output? Is 159" diagonal or horizontal?

I'm running mine on a 1.1 gain screen that's 96" wide with contrast 65 and am getting around 12-13 ftL.
