Here's a link to the special pre-order bundle price at 43% off at Amazon:

Kill Bill Volumes 1 & 2: Blu-ray Bundle - save 43%

I'll get mine in my next batch from Amazon. Cheaper than buying up here in Canada.

Just some info.... If you still have DVD's you can mail in the POP (Proof of Purchase) tabs from the discs and get $10 back for each of the two volumes.

I watched both of these movies in my Home Theater. Vol 1 yesterday and Vol 2 today. It was the best time I've had. I think it's easy to say these are my 2 favorite Blu Rays (at least for the moment Smile )

Oh god yes. Even the CRAPPIEST blu-ray is typically a step up from DVD. It's 6 times the resolution and better sound to boot.

It's a big upgrade from the DVD.

The audio is a major step up the soundtrack is really great and now like CD quality but from all channels.

Everyone who likes Kill Bill ought to run to get these. If you have the DVDs you get $20 back as well making them like $10 each (given the Amazon deal.)

Best Buy is also taking $10 off when you buy them both at least till Saturday. Fry's also has them on sale with additional $10 off discount when you buy them both.

They make for some quality time with your Home Theater. Thumbs Up

Not much. Just staying home today so I can tear out the carpet in the downstairs bedroom!!!!!!!!!!!!! Evil or Very Mad

The rain last weekend flooded the bedroom. Thanks goodness it didn't get the HT! Thumbs Up

I'm almost getting a woody thinking about the new movies. Also will be great cause it's been years since I've seen either movie.

Something to look forward to tonight after a long days work.

Nice! I should have pre-ordered those...

Hey, I have been looking for a copy of that Cream Royal Albert Hall HDDVD we saw at your place. It's kind of hard to find! That was a great looking and sounding disc so I have to have it.

Dooh! How did I miss that? I don't remember the case looking like that. I must have glanced right over it. Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your flood damage. Hopefully you were able to make some progress today.

Just finished KB1... great PQ+AQ. Thumbs Up

However, I'm going to have to check the DVD and TS versions... I don't recall Vernita Green's (Copperhead's) Pasadena front yard scene being so hyper-saturated.

Silly Caucasian girl likes to play with Samurai swords. Cool

s. [/i] Cool

Hmmm...actually that's one of the few things I DO remember about the movie regarding color saturation is that scene. I seem to recall it being very "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory".

Am i the only one who sees "sequel setup" flashing thru that scene?

Kill Bill III... aka "Nikki vs Beatrix"... (Vernita Green's Daughter vs The Bride).

Ties in nicely with O-Ren Ishii seeing her parents killed.

And you wonder if The Bride will also train her daughter... that'd be another good matchup in the sequel.
