Hi. I have a Marquee 8500 and recently had horizontal lines running in three columns diagnally across the tubes from top right to bottom left. It happened a couple of times in the past few weeks and now it seems permanent. I tried removing the input board and cleaning the contacts as well as the focus board and HDM. It seemed to fix the problem for a couple of hours and then it showed up again. I don't think cleaning those boards actually did anything, may have just been coincidence. Any suggestion? Looks like this:

Well we removed all the chips on the CLM and cleaned them, as well as all connector interfaces and it looks good so far. I ran it for a total of 10 hours and no faults. Keeping my fingers crossed. The only negative with doing this was I lost all my saved settings. So It went back to factory default and I had to redo the projector setup from scratch and all my input settings. But the fault is gone.

you mean this pic?

See I told you the cleaning of the Chips on the CLM and DPB would do it, But you shouldnt have lost the memory settings, those are saved in a non removeable chip. I would check your CLM battery voltage, the orange battery on the clm measyre the voltage on the back of the board, it should be close to 3 volts if under 2 you need a new battery.

And here is the link to his original problem I think he is just letting everyone know what fixes this problem:
