I'm having a weird issue with my NECPG9, usually when I put up a test pattern(internal), I get 2 scanlines for all the horizontal lines. Last night when I went to tweek it up, I was getting 3 scanlines. I found that this was only on the settings I use for my laptop. In otherwards, when I choose a different input setting, it goes away, back to 2 lines. Using an external test pattern, it looks perfect. I'm not sure that it really matters much, since the final product is good. Just as long as this isnt a symptom of something worse.
Ive attached 2 pics simulating this.

I seem to remember that my 9PG plus did the double thing. I never figured it out. I put about thousand hours on a new set of tubes before it got de-comissioned to the spare equipment closet. I was lucky in that I think I scored the last full set of factory (NEW) tubes when I re-tubed it. It still puts out a damn nice picture.
