Not quite sure should this be on the HTPC subforum or here...

I have problems getting the Barco to sync to anything, either the picture is very dark, or it scrolls. I am using now 720P from an old ATI radeon 8500. It is about the only res I get a working picture with. I used to use 1080i with the same card, used to work fine, now it won't.

Tried also to install a new HD 2400 Pro AGP, but I can't get it to work with Barco. Otherwise the card runs just fine, but I can't get a decent picture. No matter what I do in the driver settings. Usually it just scrolls, jumps or if it doesn't scroll it goes very dark. Don't know how to describe it. But it won't sync.

Is it a driver/setting problem (my first bet) or can there be something else wrong with the PJ, besides the faulty Convergence card (still waiting for the parts)? Can these issues be related? Or will I have to resort to the old familiar Win XP fix- complete reinstall?

Try checking your sync settings first in catalyst control center.

Also check that the H-phase isn't too far off in the projector. I'm not sure if this would cause the image to roll, but it can make it very dull.
