Tinted glycol cannot be bought, only made (see the Advanced Procedures section of the main site here).
As well, there's no need to tint the glycol *and* use tinted HD144 lenses. That won't work. You either tint the glycol and stick with the stock HD8 lenses, or replace the lenses with HD144's and keep the clear glycol.
The HD144 lenses are much sharper than the stock HD8 lenses so best results will be had by replacing the stock HD8 lenses with HD144's. You'll need a set of Joustmods.com mounts to do this.

I have the color filtered HD 144's on both of my 808 projectors and would never go back to HD 8's.
Not sure if you mean color filtered or color corrected. All lenses are color corrected. If you get the color filtered hd-144 you will not need the colored glycol.

I agree with tom as well.
I have HD144's on my 808 and the pictures is way better. Just be aware that you'll have to move your PJ forward a bit.

You can get the most realistic blood reds from a 808 especially when pushed out a second story window onto a unsuspecting passer by

When it comes to shear dead weight nothing can beat an Ampro. Plus you could claim it was a mercy killing

"Plus you could claim it was a mercy killing "
Pete was the "unsuspecting passer by" Perhaps if I start ragging on him he will return for revenge.

About 8 to 12 inches closer to the screen.

Be careful when placing a Barco in front of an Ampro as the Ampro will leak glycol all over the place...

Yep, it'll walk right up to it, lift it's leg and let one rip

There is one good thing I can say about an Ampro... Never mind it was just gas.
