An ND filter isnt going to fix this Mark. Flat out its only slightly brighter than a 1292 putting an ND filter on it is going to destroy any contrast advantage it had over CRT.

WELCOME BACK GRAHAM Thumbs Up

i am building a theater in the new house, and have looked at more than a few digital projectors
all put out a good picture just not good enough. the pictures looked flat and on some movies looked
almost like a cartoon, better blacks than last time i looked just not as black as i like.
i will not spend over 10,000 for a picture i have to get used to,i would reather spend a little more
for a new crt projector and get a picture i really like

besides digital projectors are just so d%&$ ugly my sony 1292 looked liked my trans-am and was allmost
as loud Very Happy

It destroyed the entire point of the movie. I have only put 30 hrs on it since I had it mounted up.

Too funny... The sxrd being used to setup the 1271.

If that's not a joke... that's dedication to CRT FP like I've never known.

-Brian

p.s. I love the Sony 12xx pj's a lot.

Really, I thought the Qualia had a Star Trek style detached arch feature at the back?

(I'm sure Spatz won't mind a little image thievery..)
