I recently added a dvdo vp 30 to my chain and before i set it up i wanted to tweak the d50 to get the most out of it.So i started from scratch did the focus then next according to the manual was to check the crt conversion angle,Starting by resetting the centering of the green, red and blue CRTs to factory data.OK the cross hair pattern on the green tube is dead center of the screen both horizontally and vertically, according to the manual the vertical lines of the cross hair from the red and blue CRTs are set equall distances apart from the green,so far so good. The horizontal lines of the cross hairs should converge after the resetting but they dont. They also are at equal distances from the green horizontal line and there is not enough adjustment via the remote to get both vertical and horizontal lines to converge. So loosening the screws to the CRTs i managed to physically get the lines close enough to then finish with the remote. But because of the now different angles of the lenses the cover cannot close. What have i done wrong?

Yes i did, Many thanks to you.It turned out the coarse centering was done in the zone adjustment.Stumbled across it just before i was ready to give up.So thanks again.
