I just got this projector and have been able to set the convergence on this except the left side is giving me an issue. It is floor mounted front projection. First I can't get the bow out of the left side, it bow in toward center. not bad but you can tell. but major issue is the blue in the upper left corner is all wavy. I can straighten out a little but can't remove it completely. I am a newby so hopefully it's an easy fix.

One other question is I am looking for instructions for the iris 3 as well I like to check that out but don't understand the adjustments.

You might need a new convergence board. Post a pix of the test grid please so we can see what you're talking about. I've had this on a few Barcos, have never been able to find the cure, but swapping the convergence board does the trick.

That typically is a bad convergence board assembly. I've seen a few like this, never found a real cure for it. Swap another board set into it, problem gone. Take your board and put it into another set, and sometimes it will work fine in that other set.

Send it up for me to test/repair/swap. It's some kind of component failure on that board.

Update, I didn't even think of this until tonight this was a ceiling mounted and I change it to floorwhen I got it..... until I can get some big hulk to help me put it on the Ceiling. I switched it back to ceiling and went through the set up(upside down) and no problems at all.

Did I forget to set something right or maybe I just don't have the distance right? Just the 6 connectors for ceiling to floor? I am newb at this....

Thanks

Aaron
