I was in Jamaica, mon! I probably consumed 300 Red Stripes. 8)
Suppposed to be back yesterday, but we got stuck on the runway in Charlotte for 4 hours last night with storms, then had to leave the runway for more fuel, then got back on the runway, then the crew exceeded their max duty time, so we got dumped back at the airport and were lucky to find a local hotel last night with 4000 other passengers stranded by the storms.
I thought I'd try getting completely in the vacation spirit and leave my cell phone at home for the week, especially since Jamaica is international roaming. Miserable being on a cancelled flight without a cell phone.
I happended to have my laptop for my digital camera pics... I just discovered that Charlotte airport has free wifi.
With a little luck, we'll be home later today. Then we'll work out travel plans for Cliff's.

Oh man, I wish I had known that Clarence! I would have come out to the airport to keep you guys company. We did have some serious boomers here last night. I realized I had left the flag out last night when it started and I stepped out to take it in and was practically blinded by a bolt of lightning across the street. It was scary but short lived.
