I don't know if this is coming from the G70 or the input signal, but, there is a curve at the right top corner of the screen, and noise all across the top of the image. It does appear more on full screen material but, it is still there on wide screen on bright scenes.

don't know about the curve on the top but sounds like an improper physical setup or you have played enough with geometry settings (ie. bow, skew, V/H centerlines, etc).
I have read the the noise is sometimes part of the signal but can be easily removed by masking.

Sounds like the AKB line
Do you have AGB mode turned on or off?

Another thought,
you may have your vertical shift set wrong, try adjusting it and see if the problem goes away.

My physical set up is dead on. It's not the kind of curve that comes from skew or bow. The right side of the picture is perfect with the screen until the top 3" (in any format, though most noticeable in full screen and/or bright scenes), that is where the noise starts and seems like turbulence all the way to the left of the picture. Also tried the vertical shift and ABG, no difference on either. I do have a Crystal Image scaler in the video chain....anyone ever had problems with these 2 together???

The curve may be seagulling, this is a geometric problem that cannot be fully corrected on the G70.
