Amazon has slashed the prices on a number of popular Blu-ray titles and added another Buy 2 Get 1 Free offer.

Another week, another series of Blu-ray special offers from Amazon. Following the news of Wal-Mart's aggressive push for Blu-ray adoption, it seems the world's largest online retailer is determined to keep up the pace, kicking off another "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" offer, and lowering the prices for several top titles to below the $15 mark, including Blade Runner, I Am Legend, 3:10 to Yuma (2007), and 300.

The "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" promotion will run through June 16th, and includes a selection of 95 titles, including The Fifth Element (Remastered), Hellboy, and Spider-Man: The High-Definition Trilogy.

This is all in addition to the assortment of 11 three-title Blu-ray bundles the retailer rolled out last month.

Methinks you'll be waiting quite a while! Wink

HD DVD players were only $99 when they were being liquidated at a loss because nobody was buying them. It'll be a while before you see BD players at that price. If they were that price today, it would mean that BD was *also* tanking so you really shouldn't be buying into it.

ok not to start a debate again for no reason but the walmart deal was going on when toshiba stb players were still outselling br stb players if you exclude the ps3.

I now have a ps3 so I dont think it should be excluded since it is a lightening fast player.

Time to pick up some cheap movies!

THe wife is gonna start asking about the HD dVD soon though...

Only 3:10 to Yuma and 300 are $15 and the triple bundles don't seem to be that good of a deal to me. $20 per movie and up.

I want deals on movies like cars, ratatoullie, casino royale, bee movie, POTC, HP, etc.

Let's go Kal...make it happen! Laughing
