Did you do what I said and find the menu option on your display where you set the input type for Input 1 and/or Input 2 as RGB or YUV? If you found that and can put it in "YUV" mode, then the cable Ben linked to above will work for you.
VGA is a connector, not a signal type. RGB, YPbPr, YUV are signal types. All of those signal types my be passed on a VGA connector. It is up to the source and display to have the types in sync.

The "VGA" term is really confusing because it has several meanings. Some people use "VGA connector" to refer to a DE-15/HD-15 (also called d-sub 15) connector. That's the connector that's on most notebook computers (until more recently).
Then, as if that isn't confusing enough, VGA is also used it to refer to the computer resolution of 640x480 pixels (S-VGA is 800x600 and XGA is 1024x768).
So, to clarify, your plasma has an HD-15 connector (sometimes called a VGA connector) that can accept either RGB or component (YUV/YPbPr). Not all displays with a "VGA connector" can do that - yours can. That's why Dave is asking you if you configured it in the menu - you have to tell the display what kind of signal you're feeding it - RGB or component.

On the remote if i go to input 1 (which is a VGA connector/port) I can hit a button that will take it from RGB to YUV. and as I hit the button it displays "RGB" or "YUV" correspondingly.

Buy the cable, hook it up, hit the YUV button--f*ck***' done! $10 and your off!

Hey you guys. Thank you so much for ya'll's help. The TV, phenomenal. And everything worked out. Still need to get a computer for the setup that will handle gaming but as of now... Its great!!!!!!
