Loudoun County has a "no outside fire ban" in effect every July and August. My hottie wife has a "no inside fire ban" in effect every January through December.

I am so looking foward to that drive. I'm actually one of the few I think that enjoy road trips!

No way I loved the drive to your meet, 110 at some points in indiana . I passes a trouper on the way up , he pulled out lights a blazing, i said oh sh*t!!!! But before, i pulled over about 5 minuts earlier to let a guy in a toyota highlander pass (i was going 95 then), he was flying!!! Well any how, i moved in to the slow lane waiting to pull over and the trouper blew by me !! I was like Wheeeeoouuu!!! Must be an accident? well about 2 miles later i saw what he was after, the guy in the highlander!!!! If I was going 110 that guy must have been doing over that for him to ignor me!!!!
i loved the drive especially in my EVO sweet car for road trips !

Dude, from what i know, speeding, serious speeding in NJ, MD, and VA are no joke especially VA.
http://www.speedingticketcentral.com/Virginia-speeding-ticket.html
Virginia Reckless Driving Ticket
Virgina is cracking down on excessive speeding, especially in Fairfax County on the Dulles Tollroad and Wythe County. If you are cited for 20mph over the speed limit or at a speed greater than 80mph then you may be facing the very serious charge of reckless driving. In Virginia this is a criminal violation and a mandatory court appearance. The judge has the option of fining you up to 2500 plus one year in jail. Jail time is unusual but does happen, especially if your speed exceeded 100mph. They will put you in cuffs and you will go straight to jail.
You should always contest a VA reckless driving charge. If there were no other issues during the traffic stop, most Virginia courts will reduce the violation to a simple speeding ticket. However this still carries a stiff six point count with the possibility of a major increase in you auto insurance and a fine in the neighborhood of $500. If you are a VA driver, you will be subject to the reckless driving $1050 surcharge payable to the VA DMV on top of the court fine if the judge does not reduce.
My brother got stopped in VA by a trooper, clocked him @ 105. He got a 500.00 ticket, points and his CDL got suspended. For him, a lineman for Verizon, this was catastrophic, because he cant report to work without a valid CDL..... it was reeeeeealy nasty.

I was just in Toronto, and in Ontario they're serious about speeding too. There are signs there saying if you go 50kph over the limit (e.g. 93mph in a 62mph zone), it's a mandatory roadside suspension of your license, impounding your car, and $2-10k fine.

So, right about now, in exactly a week:
Cliffy, Clarence, Ken, Adam and Don will just be going to bed..............
Mike, John, Cheryl and I will just be finishing breakfast, probably French toast with real Canadian maple syrup, bacon on the side, and of course wake up juice (coffee)............
Mark will be making preparations to drive back over (possibly with his wife) from Maryland for Sunday's activities.....................
I'm not exactly sure what Emdawqz1's current Avatar will be doing, cause I'm not sure which one he is bringing..............

Ok. You can eat breakfast right before you go to bed.

Dear All Existing and Potential Attendees:
Last weekend I bush hogged and finish cut the fields all around the house. The property looks as good as it can.
Last night was major Home Theater progress. I nailed the geometry for both Marquees, separately, then together in the blend zone. It is very close to perfect. Also completed red and blue convergence onto green for both projectors. Tonight is gray scale calibration. After that, audio calibration of the Lexicon MC-12, intensity uniformity settings across the entire image, and then I am ready to party.
This should be very close to the final list of expected attendees:
The BBQ God Don Wallace
The Mythical Mike Parker
The Ever Captivating Clarence (That's a reference to his photography skills, especially in firelight)
His Lordship Mr. Emdawqz1
His Lordship's Current Avatar (She really is into Blended CRTs)
The Stack God Cliffy
Jaw Droppin Rex (DropZone7)
CRT Ben (and hopefully Cheryl)
The Irrepressible Mark Haflich
The Reverend of Raster Ken Whitcomb
The Ghost John Barnes (JBJR)
The Buffalo Totin Adam (bbfarmht)
The Server God Don Kellogg???
The Mysterious Joel
The Host
His Hottie Wife
Are you coming Arli (Bomrat)?
Am I missing anyone?
The Host

The only reason you two don't have a nickname is that I don't know either of you very well. Not wanting to leave anyone out, if you would like to suggest an appropriate nickname for yourselves, I will modify the offending post.
CRT Ben, is your Cheryl coming? If she does, and she would be interested, I would take her down to the winery 5 mintues away from the house where my Cheryl works. My Cheryl would treat your Cheryl real well.
There is no real schedule of events. I don't plan a real formal Home Theater Meet. There are a couple of items I want to show to people in groups. Cliffy really likes putting the system through his very own torture tests, so I will probably let him run some demo stuff too. Later in the evening, we will probably watch a movie or two.

Ah, you can't make a nickname for yourself, it has to be earned! You don't know me but I will be easy to spot. I will be the one that is wide eyed and trying to pick my jaw up off the floor I'm sure! My name is Rex by the way, in case anyone else wants to know. I met Clarence once but everyone else I know only through the forum. I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing a nice blended rig to boot.

Nash just doesn't want to be caught in the picture with me passed out beside him again. I'm going to try to stay upright and mobile this time though. I won't have been up since 4:30 in the morning and a 3 hour drive under my belt.

Yo Cliffy;
1) Number PM'd
2) My humble little system can take an HDMI feed, convert it to HD-SDI, split it in two, scale both halves, send one half to each projector, roll off the right most intensity of the left half, and roll off the left most intensity of the right half, resulting in a perfectly formed image on a 12 foot wide SMX beauty.
4 HDMI inputs, the Moome HD-Mux accepts, it does.
The hot nuts are awaiting your arrival!!! Like the "prizes in the machine" scene in Toy Story 1, they've been asking in zombie unison "Is Cliffy here yet? Is Cliffy here yet?"
William
