I'm creating a digital display room for my work. Basically we sell software for geological evaluation and mine design. The images we generate can be extremely complex and are rendered in a 3D rotational environment. We also can render the images and animations in a 3D stereoscopic mode as well.
For 3D stereoscopic I'm contemplating either passive or active (ie. using either two or one projector). The other option is also simply using a "full immersion" effect to have a very wide image (possibly stretching it across two projectors. (my maximum width would be approx 20'. unfortunately the wall is only 9 or 10' tall.

I will be able to control the lighting but I'll want a bright room as we conduct training in a classroom environment.

Anyone have any sources that I can go to for projectors and screens (I know Curt sells screens so will likely source from him).

Any advice is appreciated on what to look for (or what to avoid). My preliminary budget is ~$50K. I would likely be advising customers for setup and sourcing hence wanting to demosrate the using of a one or two proj setup. this is the primary reason that I am going digital as most customers will not want to go thru the burden of crt setup. especially since there is little local support (most likely, non at all).

thanks in advance

Rod
