I found this is storage today. Not shure where I got it. Anyone know what it was used for? It's a pretty cool lens.

Probably from some sort of projection system where the tube shot straight up or down and required a 90 degree bend to shoot out. Kind of funky looking

I seem to remember that there was a CRT projector made that had a single output lense in the middle (instead of three separate lenses). This lense could have been used for that, as all three CRT tubes needed to be mirrored into one single output lens. I can't remember who made this projector, but I know it existed because a friend of mine had one in 1996. It could be an attempt by the CRT manufacturer to improve the focus of the three elements (since the corner focus adjustments of the left/right lenses may not have existed yet).

Submarines?

LOL good one!
I'm guessing it was RP based with a short depth cabinet because the mirror is built into the lens. Very cool actually.
