Seeing how everyone is posting about the HD-DVD refunds, etc, I thought I'd let everyone know (probably old news by now) that Best Buy sent me a $50.00 gift card for my Tosh XA2 purchase last Oct.

Hey, I aint complaining! I did not expect anything to begin with. If I buy something and it is outdated later, too bad for me. Thats the way it goes.

I wonder why Sony never did anything like that for us poor Beta purchasers.... Evil or Very Mad

BTW, what ever happened to all the "5 Free BD movies with BD player purchase? Seems that offer stopped about 2-3 minutes after Tosh threw in the towel. I still say Sony being the winner is a bad thing.

It had been scheduled to end the end of February (I think that's when it was) for quite a while and had nothing to do with Toshiba dropping HD-DVD.

I got $100 gift card on Monday of course I paid $300 for the HD-A1. Sad I still have the A1 on my RPTV. I Like the analog audio outputs it has.

I know, but I am just picking on Sony..............

But, in the same thought, the sales on BD players that were running from Best Buy and Circuit City seem to have ceased. Why?
