Let me start again,i shorted the fuses on the ac input board,by plugging on a wrong voltage setting. It was on the adjustment mode(h width adjustment)when it happened. The smps board had a 330mf cap blown, the g2 diag board had the 100mf burnt also.
I have replaced all the blown parts, the system starts up with out hold down or scan fail, there are no red leds on the eht,h def,and vertical board, the pj responds to the remote commands as indicated on the cpu diagnostic leds and also the rgb switcher board leds indicates and responds to the input by the RC commands.
I have checked that there is high voltage, and rgb out from the rgb board, but no rgb signal going in the neckboard. Is the video amp busted also? What board should i check?
Please help.

If you are sure that input board have rgb output, then check protection resistors (SR100 and SR101) from driver board (R762720). Problem is in that board, since there is nothing else between input board and neck boards.
Projector probably had 10A main fuses, these are meant for 120V. With 230V main fuses should be 6.3A.

If you have a spare horizontal deflection/magnetic focus board try it also. Curt fixed mine and it had the same symptoms...

Yep have tried a good h shift/focus board from a working BG 808,did not work on the retro. The retros h shift board worked perfectly on the BG808.
Thanks a million for your reply,i really needed it.been very disappointed with myself ,messing up a new projector.
I will try Ile's suggestion tonight.Thanks again

Nope the resistors are not shorted.will try to check the +/- 5v on this board, what else should i check on this board? the g2 boards are ok, even cranked it up to light up the crts and trimmed the leds back off.
