I've noticed that when moving from DVD to Blueray, Games, and the XMB main screen I have to do a complete setup to get the picture on my screen. For example after I get the convergence done for the XMB. If I then play a game the image goes off my screen top and bottom. Is this normal? Would a HD fury fix this.
I'm using RGB Component cables on my Barco 701s.

You'll need different setup memories for each of your sources which use different scan rates

No,

You have to press the memory button on either the remote or on board controller.

The PS3 puts out several different scan rates so you have to touch up several memories if you want everything perfect. For example some games use 720p so you have to dial that in if you play those games.

Thanks brian I think you just saved me a lot of frustration. Now to find that memory button. I don't have a remote.

A Barco 701s saves adjustments automatically, there is no memory button. Download the manual for your 701s from this site, it will give you the necessary info on setting up different sources/scan rates.

If you plug in a new source w/a new scan rate, you can go to the service menu and "copy a block". This allows you to copy a setup you previously completed to the new block and get you very close to complete. You will probably need to do a little fine tuning but your new block should then automatically save. Example:

1) Plug in the PS3 and set up the 701s for DVD at 1080i
2) put a game in that is 720p and it looks off. Go to service menu and copy the block you previously set up for 1080i...

Sorry,...

For some reason I mis-read this and thought it had to do with a Sony pj thus the comments on the memory key on the controller.

That's what you get when you try to cut down on coffee I guess.
