When it comes to home theater calibration, the color analyzer is often the weakest link in
measuring and adjusting a display device. Because of
the unprecedented price/performance ratio of the
Display 3,
it is most certainly one of the most
important products ever developed for display
calibration in the last 10 years.
The
Display 3 PRO takes the
standard Display 3 meter one step further and offers
substantially enhanced accuracy across 10+ display types with colour and
white point accuracy that in most cases exceeds that of the
EyeOne Pro
spectroradiometer.
When someone needs to choose one single sub-$1000
meter for video calibration, the Display 3 PRO
is the number one choice as it offers professional grade
performance at a price affordable to the amateur
hobbyist or enthusiast. No other single meter even
comes close.
It is a phenomenally fast reading
meter, perfect for performing completely automated
calibration using
ChromaPure Auto-Calibrate with a
DVDO Duo
or
Lumagen Radiance video
processor in record time. ChromaPure Auto-Calibrate
allows anyone with little or no training to
calibrate their display to professional standards.
Just select a few options, click Auto-Calibrate, and
then just go have a cup of coffee while the process
completes. In less than 5 minutes your display will
be full calibrated. Curious? Watch the
Auto-Calibrate demo video to see how easy
and fast it is.

Electrohome 9501 CRT video projector

See our
CRT Primer to read why CRT projectors are still used in home
theaters where picture quality is paramount. Our
Projector Rankings page will show you how they
stack up. Not sure what

Here is a great condition high end 9" CRT video
projector that is in 100% working shape.
The Electrohomes are the pinnacle of CRT video
projectors, there are tens of thousands of units out
there, they are reliable, and are designed to be on
24/7 in flight simulators and other
military/commercial applications.
Technically, this set can run 2160p, twice of the
current 1080p standard. Of course, the set will run
1080p with ease, and will blow away the digital
projectors available on the consumer market. With
the contrast ratio being in excess of 30,000:1, the
blacks are perfect blacks, and with 1300 lumens, the
room does not need to be completely dark to have a
sharp punchy image.
A 135Khz scan rate means the set will lock to any
resolution you can send it, and an
optional HDMI card is available to feed the
projector a digital signal, making the set
obsolescence proof. The set comes with the manual
that details the setup of the projector. The
instructions are easy to follow, and the included
auto convergence camera will let you tweak the set
automatically with a push of the remote control.
Surf the web in style on a 10' screen, the
projector also exhibits no lag time for you hardcore
gamers. 110 and 220 volt compatible, and the set
will display any aspect radio you want.
The projector has a new green tube installed!
With an estimated 12,000+ hours left on the tubes,
you'll be able to run long hours without the fear of
expensive bulbs burning out. If the bidding exceeds
$3200.00, I'll include the ceiling bracket. Two
RGBHV inputs are included with this unit, the set
has had some crucial video and power supply updates
done, so this set is ready to go. I'll preset the
unit for floor or ceiling mount and for your screen
size, so the set should be very close as to the
alignment you need once you install it.
