Add 3D to any TV or projector!
Radiance: Top of the line video processing

3D SALE: Add 3D to your TV/projector
July 31, 2012

No 3D? No problem! Don't replace your perfectly good HDTV. Simply add a 3D-Theater and glasses!

The 3D-Theater and RF glasses are on sale for a limited time at substantial discounts. All bundles are further discounted to include a set of glasses and RF emitter for free, further increasing your savings.

Included in our bundles are updated, high end, completely adjustable RF glasses with emitter (now back in stock). RF means they are completely immune to interference and do not require line of sight.

These RF glasses are an all new design that is much improved over the originals. The new glasses are stylish and form fitting and include a quick polarity swap feature built right into the glasses (a quick tap of the power button reverses polarity) instead of having to use the joystick on the emitter. The RF emitter has also been upgraded to include presets built in for DLP projectors, LCD TVs, Plasma TVs, etc. This makes setup much easier and gives better results.

The 3D-Theatre supports every 3D signal type in existence today including frame-packing, side-by-side, top-bottom. It is firmware updatable so that new features can be added in the future as needed.

Completely plug & play. Simply add the 3D-Theatre between your source and the display. Works on all 720p (or better) HD displays. Upgrade to 3D at a fraction of the cost of buying a new display.

Enjoy the latest 3D movies such as The Avengers, Titanic, Prometheus, Men in Black 3, and more!

On sale for a limited time, quantities are limited!

Reviews/Testimonials

"No ghosting on the image and the 3D effect on my 120" screen is out of this world... This blows the Movie Cinema's away, when you can set this up on a big screen. And I love the added bonus of taking the 3D-Theatre to anyone's house to enjoy 3D since it works on any display. What more can I say except I am glad Optoma delayed their product since the 3D-Theatre is 110 times better and supports ALL formats (unlike the 3D-XL) So if your thinking of making the move to 3D but can't afford a 3DTV, or heck, why even bother buying a 3DTV when you can use the 3D-Theatre with your existing TV and/or projector ... PRICELESS" - Ian

"ONE WORD! AWESOME!!! Don't let the small size or the very basic appearance of the 3D-Theater sway you in any way! It's the performance of this little box that really impressed me. After waiting quite some time for the 3D-XL to come out which still hasn't shipped in any volume I decided to get this instead, and sure glad I did. It is super simple to setup and works perfect with the PS3 and also with my WD TV Live media player for playing SBS 3D files. I have it hooked up to my Optoma GT720 120hz 3D Ready short throw and watching 3D Blu-Ray on a 135" screen is simply breathtaking! Get one you won't be disappointed!" - John

Last chance on MASSIVE Radiance XE sale

Last chance to save an additional $1000 off our already discounted Radiance XE video processor.

This is the highest end video processor available on the market today. Sale ends August 31, 2012.

Because our sale price is considerably below Lumagen's "minimum advertised price" we are not allowed to post it publically. You must visit our Radiance order page and click "BUY NOW" to add it to your cart to see the sale price.

Combine it with the award winning ChromaPure software to auto-calibrate any display: Anyone with little or no training in video technology can now calibrate their display in just 5-10 minutes.

The higher clock speed Radiance XE+ is also on sale for you high end CRT projector owners (Sony G90, Barco 1209/Cine9, Electrohome Marquee 95xx, etc.) who want to do 1080p/72Hz or 1080p/75Hz. 72Hz refresh allows you to run film at exactly 3x the native rate at which film is shot (24 frames/second) instead of at the usual 50 or 60Hz. Running at even multiples of the native rate eliminates motion 'judder' which some people find annoying. CRT based displays flicker too much at 24Hz and 48Hz, requiring the use of 72Hz refresh rate. Flicker does not exist on digital displays as the bulb is always on.

Free US/Canada shipping is included. Contact us for an international shipping quote. We ship worldwide.

Buy once, use forever!

The Radiance is the only video processor that we know of that, over the years, has kept up with new features and offered upgrades to existing users - often through completely free software upgrades! Most other companies we know of do not do this. Instead, they make you buy a new model as new features are introduced.

You don't hear this often but CurtPalme.com is comfortable in saying that the Radiance is the one true "buy once, use forever" video processor that has stood the test of time. The Radiance is completely over engineered with processing power that has proven that it can take on just about anything. Truly phenomenal support from Jim Peterson and his crew!

See our Radiance order page for more details and pictures.

Sony G90 9" CRT projector

See our CRT Primer to read why CRT projectors are still used in home theaters where picture quality is paramount. Our Projector Rankings page will show you how they stack up. Not sure what projector is right for you? Email Curt for help!

Here is a very hard to find Sony G90 with wireless remote control. This projector is the pinnacle of CRT technology. 9" tubes, 1300 lumens, 135Khz scan rate, which technically could project a 2160p (4K) image.

With what's available on the market today, this will display a stellar 1080p image, with about 35,000:1 contrast ratio for true blacks. With an estimated 12,000 hours left on the tubes, you're good for well over 10 years of watching a movie a night without expensive bulb or tube replacement. I've changed the green tubs out due to wear on the original, all three tubes are in great shape. The Dallas (memory) chip has also been replaced.

The set works flawlessly, all functions work as expected. This set, like most others, came out of a high end installation where the customer 'upgraded' to digital. CRT still blows away any digital technology out there when it comes to a film like image, no motion artifacting and lifelike colors, none of this Technicolor digital color in a CRT image! Setup is straightforward with this set, the manual is exceptionally well written.

Top of the line HD10F lenses are installed in this unit (taken off to take the tube picture). 110 and 220 volt operation, PAL, SECAM and NTSC compatible, and 4:3, 16:9 and 2:35 image setup possible with this unit. With an optional card, an HDMI or DVI signal can plug directly into this projector. The case of this projector is in excellent shape, minimal marks and scratches.

We will preset the set for your screen size before we ship. We ship via truck or air, and will CAREFULLY pack the set, so you don't end up with three or more little G90s on arrival. We do not use couriers to ship these sets, UPS and FedEx will break them. Overseas, airport to airport via freight is the cheapest to ship, door to door is possible though. Email Curt for an accurate shipping price or with any questions you may have, we're happy to answer them. We do ship worldwide.

Listed on eBay here (no reserve). See all our eBay listings.
