Do you still have them? Do the red and green tubes have filter colored glycol?

LC tubes do not have colored glycol, and the R and G colored C elements were really only a consumer product, as the light output is a bit reduced.

Note also that these tubes have the LC chambers rotated 90 degrees, so you'd have to take the tubes out and put them in different LC chambers in order to work with a 'standard' CRT projector.
