Hi there.
I have a Seleco SVP 800 HD with heavy wear on the green tube. The tubes are P14 (07MTS3). First I thought about swapping the tubes of a D50 into the Seleco but the D50 is in such a good condition that it would be a shame to disassemble it.
So now I think of putting a 07MS into the Seleco. Of course it won't be as sharp and bright as the 07MTS, but that's not the problem. I just don't know if I can simply swap them 1:1. Yes, the housing is different and I have to change it. But is there electronically a difference or will a 07MS work as spare part in this case?

Regards

Tobi

My understanding is that an 07MS is always the same tube but the variants like the MTS have different hardware configurations,
which may require you to adapt to the different hardware or, in extreme situations, swap the hardware between the tubes.

So it's right that I "just" have to change the housing?!
But electronically there is no difference?
So maybe I will try it...

That is what I was told and what I currently believe. The CRT is the same, the housing/mounting may be different.
