I finally put a line cord on an RCVDS 05 that I've had sitting here for years, and the thing works fine. It comes loaded with 6 RGBHV cards, one RGBHV output and one video/Svideo output board. everything seems to work fine, including the audio functions. No internal doubler built in, although the wiring is there for it.
Rack mountable, front panel is in good shape, top has some minor scratches.
Bandwidth is very high on this unit, something like 300 Mhz I think. this unit can be configured with Video and Svideo input cards, I know I have a box of cards for this set here, probably 20 of them or so.
$25 for the switcher as is, $25 for the box of additional cards.
Cheep!

Are you sure its an RCVDS 500, and not an RCVDS 05 ? I thought the RCVDS's were either a 400, an 800, or an 05 ?

Sorry, my bad, it is an 05. Brain fart. I just found a second one, I'll check it tomorrow. Same price. I'll post a pix tomorrow as well.

I'm using one with three output modules in it to switch component . . . . works just fine using RGBHV modules, just make sure Y is on the G channel...

Pictures finally as promised. Connectors along the bottom are audio inputs. I've got 1 left, one is sold.
