Hi

The chip programmer software should identify which spot is for chip 1. It has been a while since I programmed my last chip so I am just going from memory. From memory I think I found out spot 1 on the programmer from the programmers software.

Hi Franck,

I'm sorry to disturb you, but I need your help.
I have the PCB 50 version is when I try an action, I have systematically the pop up of error: "Privileged instruction."
Everything is correctly connected, I do not understand the problem.
What is the order of the procedure to be followed?

Thanks again.

Absolutely definitely yes. I've put that exact chip into two of my G90s.

I would not have bought the eprom programmer unless I had other uses for it.

I just buy the new chip, label it, remove the old chip, label it, and send both to Craig Rounds for him to clone the old to the new,
and send both back to me.

What to do if you cannot read out an old Dallas chip (year 1998).

Can another bin file be used ?

Anyone got one for me ?

thanks

Craig would know for sure but I think you can even use a blank one, but that requires you to fully realign the whole projector,
every setting. And you will probably lose your serial number.

I will setup from scratch and so it would not be an issue.

IC233 : Boot program/Uploader program
IC333 : User data save
IC334 : Factory data save/Service data save/User data back up

For me that reads like that there is a backup of the dallas chip data on the IC334 ?!

Any chance for re-init the new blank Dallas chip when it's mounted on the YA board ?

cheers

Yes, there is a service/initialization procedure.

I don't recall the specifics.

But, I do remember this much: You know how to enter the service mode, using the up-down arrow and enter keys.

Do the same thing but replace the up-down arrow button presses with left-right presses and the initialization procedure is in there....I think.

It'll ask you to confirm before committing any changes.

I have changed the Dallas chip and still got error 11 on the YA board.

Tried two different com ports with two different RS232 cables but no connect can be established.

I bought this cable

https://www.amazon.de/gp/aw/d/B000L9PKBY/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?__mk_de_DE=ÅMÅZÕÑ&qid=1502961707&sr=8-2&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=rs232+crossover&dpPl=1&dpID=41NIRDgU3WL&ref=plSrch

Anyone can help me out here ?

cheers and thanks
ElTopo

Contact Craig Rounds. Nobody knows more about the G90 than he does.

One step forward.

My RS232 cable (custom made) gives me the warning codes 11-18-11-18 on the Sony.

Something is still wrong with the cable i think.

I'll post in the buy section.

cheers
