It has already been isolated to the CLM. It's a new CLM. I'm hoping for a fix.
It's not there on initial projector turn on, but after or more minutes, it degrades into doing the zaggies.

Since you already circled to the CLM, I'd try to swap the DPB with an other known working CLM's DPB.

I noticed that I got zaggies when I went to 72Hz. At 60Hz they where gone. But mine where only a very little.
I tried swapping the board on the horizontal deflection with no change.
After warm up it becomes less in my case.
Tried two CLM and would be interested in a fix too. Because of the temperature change it might be caps?

That was it Gjaky... and it makes sense that the problem should have been the DPB. I should have tried that already..javascript:emoticon('')
Anway, that noise is completely gone. Now, I'll need to track down the other one. Which is a bunch of noise lines moving up and down the screen.

Do you happen to know what causes this?
It is not on the internal testpatterns. It is only on 72Hz and not solvable with timings.

If timings don't help, I've seen that many times caused by a bad HDM board on Marquee.

Better sync timings did help but there are still a very little zaggies. I will check the HDM. Thanks.

I've had a few clients with trouble like this...
The last one I saw though was when I met Curt at Tim's place in Arizona. One of Tim's two blend projectors started doing the "zaggies." Curt and Tim had no idea, but I was like, "I've seen this with HDM's before." Sure enough it was on the HDM.
I couldn't believe that I knew a quick Marquee fix that Tim and Curt didn't already know
I'll be curious about yours.

I had this same problem, even after I solved the problem shown in the screenshots when I started this thread. But with me of course, I don't have the option of changing the timings. So I fired up the test bed, pull out the extender card rig and me and the scope went to work.
I'll post in a few what all I've found, but for sure I no longer have either problem now. I'll post back what I've found in a few...

Yes, but for now, replace C12 on the CLM with either a 10uf electrolytic or 22 to 33uf tant. You also need to put a 0.1uf in parallel with the cap. That cap is the secondary of a 12 volt regulator right near it. That 12 volt supply is critical to that problem.
There are also several other areas that could use attention, but for now that's what I have time to address, and is one of the two main areas for clean sweep performance. That cap was the problem when using my ver 5.5 DPB
