Hi, can the RCT2200 help me with the porch problems I have when watching PAL material?
Or do I need a scaler for that?

The problem i have is that i cant get the picture from pal material as wide as i can with NTSC or Blu Ray material. I would like to stretch the picture to the same size as NTSC and Blu Ray.

I don't understand why you don't get the same width. A standard def PAL line is 64us long while a NTSC line is 63.55us. This difference should be totally unnoticeable in any picture and give the same width.
At higher resolutions a different setting of your projector must be chosen of cause.
A RTC2x00 doesn't change any timing in the signal, it just converts the color space and de-embeds the sync.

I don't know either but i have been told that front and back porch is very wide in a pal signal and therefore the smaller picture. I already have the HD fury and It would be just perfect if the RCT 2200 could help me out with this little problem, but I don't think it can.
