Hi,
just wondered if there is a simple explanation/solution to getting a colour picture from my sky+ digibox when running it to my 701s ? I have a scart to svideo converter plugged into the sky box and then a 5m svideo cable running to the svideo input (no2) on the projector. I'm sure I ran exactly the same setup with my old barco 700vision which is technically inferior yet this gave a colour picture (although pretty crappy - seems to suffer from a coarse textured carbon fibre weave effect...is this interlacement at work?) Well now all i have is a black and white crappy pic with textured weave effect...am I overlooking a simple setting? I've been through the menus on both the PJ and the Sky+ digibox and nothing seems to make a difference. I tried turning up the colour too, just in case you were wondering. Smile

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Bad S-video cable?

1) SD (which is 480i, which is all s-video will do) will look like complete crap on any CRT PJ. Buy a cheap scaler if you must watch SD from this type of source on your PJ (which I would recommend against).
2) Have you tried s-video from another source (DVD player, S-VHS, etc)?
