I need to download the FULL off line installer for DirectX 10. My HTPC dosen't have an internet connection curently. So I'm trying to download the full version on my Windows 98 box and burn it to disk for an install on my HTPC.
ANyone know where I can download it? Micro$oft says I need a validated OS.
I just wana play my damn game.

AR - the machine you are downloading on will need to be validated - if you don't have a legitimate copy you wont be able to download updates.
I have a copy of the SDK (which has the run time component) in my MAPS partner's kit here somewhere - give me a day or so to have it found.

I just realised AR, you're using XP aren't you? DX10 is Vista only
There are no plans to implement DX10 on XP. Its one of the ways Microsoft marginalises waning OSs
