Ok, Moome's told me it's ok to let the cat out of the bag now:

A new Sony HDMI card called "IFB-FULLHD" will be available for pre-order soon. The word "FULL" has been added to the name as the new IFB-FULLHD card will be 100% HDMI 1.3 compliant!

Some quick info:

- Fully HDMI 1.3 compliant! Including Deep Color support! A first!
- Better D/A converters (12bit DAC) and op-amps than in any of his previous designs for the best image quality possible!
- TWO HDMI inputs!
- Toslink output, supporting up to 2 channels of PCM (uncompressed) or 8 channels of compressed audio
- Gamma adjustment/correction
- Remote control

Here's a Sony IFB-FULLHD prototype card installed in a G90 and undergoing testing:

Moome wants to start pre-orders on the IFB-FULLHD in about 2 weeks. Complete specs, information and pictures coming as soon as Moome supplies them.

I've started a new "FAQ" on this product so please put all questions there. See the Sony IFB-FULLHD thread.

Sorry, no idea who's Sony G90 it is. He does seem to use one for testing however.

Does anyone know if these cards have the same problems that people have been experiencing with the EXT-HD?

If you're referring to the ringing problem, I would suspect not as Moome's sent out 2 batches of IFB-HD boards now and there have been zero complaints about them AFAIK.

Since the IR sensor will be on the back of my PC-1271 switcher, will the remote still work by reflection?

One card left now! I've had 2 people pass on the last card now so first come first served! Same price as always: $435 with direct shipping from Moome in Taiwan included.

Current batch is all sold out. News as to when a new batch is available will be posted here, so if you want to know, sign up for this thread by logging into the forum and clicking "Watch this topic for replies".

Moome just sent me the following update today (Feb 18th):

Quote:
EXT-HD and IFB-HD, VIM should another week, MUX-HD will 3 weeks.

So it looks like he's going to still make his Feb 2008 delivery window for the IFB-HD.
