I am also wondering if the internal card allows a little bit more adjustments due to the trimpot + remote. Where as the Ext HD has only the remote. Just curious since the Ext HD actually cost less.

Yeah. Given that I already have high-quality RGBHV cables running to my projector (I could run an HDMI but it would be painful), the ext box can be used on any projector instead of being Sony-specific, the ext box will switch 2 HDMI sources, the ext box is about $100 cheaper for equivalent functionality, and supposedly the ext box has no PQ disadvantages... then maybe I'm glad the IFB-HD's sold out.
The ext box blatantly violates the idea of the HDMI/HDCP security, whereas the internal cards could claim to be legal because they're internal devices. But the same is true for the Fury. Hopefully these are all small enough fish that the Big Bad DRM Police won't bother to revoke their keys...

I just installed the Moome card and have noticed very very faint rolling lines that are not visible when I switch to the RGBHV input of my G90.
I am running HDMI and RGBHV out of an NEC Theatersync at 1080P60, these faint lines are visible with all sources, I don't know if its the NEC or Moome card.
Could the Moome card be bad?

Just watched my first two movies on my new G70 with a Moome internal...ZOINKS, let me quote Sarah Silverman....."how bout Mr Moome is friggin awesome". A big thanks to you for making this kick ass thing. I really have a limited base with which to judge from as I was recently using an older D50 with a doubler but man what a visible difference this new setup is. Thanks again Mr Moome and Kal and Curt for making this available to us

Corresponded with Moome via email support, he suggested I switch Jumper from 1 to 2 on card and low and behold problem has disappeared

Hi Everyone, First post and some good news!
I just got my new high-end IFB-HD (v1.332) yesterday evening and got it installed today.
I previously had a Moome IFB DVI card (got it in March ’06) and used it in my Sony G70.
The upgrade is immediate and noticeable on several fronts:
- Shadow detail! There is now shadow detail in HD content
- Quicker HDCP handshakes with finicky players like my Toshiba HD-A1
- Even component looks a ton better. Gamma has a bit to do with it, but also signal looks ‘cleaner’.
- IR Control of inputs and minor gamma tuning is handy
- Gamma correction, I can actually see all the gradations in DVE-HD now.
Installing was std, and worked right off the bat.
Note: I did have to move the jumper to position one for my G70. Moome tests in a switcher, so it comes by default set to jumper position 2. Remember to check you have it configured right for your PJ before inserting.
Very happy with it. Even though it took a long time to receive, it was worth the wait.
Thanks Moome, great work.

Well, enough people seem to still want this card, so I've convinced Moome to make another batch of 50 IFB-HD High End model cards. You guys that complained better order one or I'm in trouble!
Price is the same as before. Order today and it will ship to you in mid to late October. Note: Basic and Advanced models are no longer offered in order to speed up order processing as most previous sales were for the high end model.
Click here to pre-order a Sony IFB-HD HDMI card!
First come, first served. There is some custom testing/configuration involved so those that order sooner will receive their card sooner.
For everyone that ordered before September 2007 and hasn't received their card yet, it should be on its way to you now if you don't have it already!
Kal

Warning! There are less than 10 Sony IFB-HD cards left in the second batch scheduled to start shipping out any day now.
Another batch may be ordered but likely won't ship until late Dec 2007.

Just kidding, I'll wait until the next batch. HDFury is working OK

Update: Only 6 Sony IFB-HD cards left now. They should all be gone within a few days. Next batch likely won't be ready to go until 2008.

Update: Moome sent me an email that the IFB-HD cards will start shipping out tomorrow (Nov 5th) and he should complete sending out all orders within 2 weeks.
There are only 3-4 cards left in the current batch. The factory that builds these seems overloaded so not sure when the next batch will be made.

It may be a long time before there is a next batch, I do believe he will take a long much needed break from all of this.

No idea, sorry. I emailed him again today to ask. My guess is likely Jan/Feb 2008. The factory he gets stuff made at seems very busy.
IMHO, consider the EXT-HD instead. Cheaper, and extra HDMI input, and works with more than just Sony projectors.
