A different Blu Ray player, an older version but better quality. It seems to work better with the 03 VIM I think

Just switched Vim's

No changes in a awhile on the setup. Figuring out the later changes and thinking I may try a color balance later to see what happens. The screens looks very different, yet the cheap camera is doing better. Still have a ways to go.

Contrast 50. Plus, they are all inside low light ("azziz light") filmed. I run shorts like this to put emphasis on Detail. With my green CRT being defective it blooms on anything above 55, yet still I can get incredible light output on the screen. But because of the defective green CRT, would would see the green blooming as can been seen in a lot of my previous shots.

These neck boards drive very hard and that also makes them perfect for LUG's, because they maintain spot size better then LCP's at higher drive levels. One of the reasons why the G90 was brighter than the Marquee - The LUG tubes!

I have both brightness and detail, and it does so at very high light output, and that's even with the green LCP tube in there.

Brightness, Sharpness and Detail are all cake for this setup, because it does all three very well..Mr. Green

I plan to have a few invites over next month to demo a few things..Wink

You will for sure. But I'll assure you that you'll also have an appreciation for not so bright. The shots below are at 50, while I'm comfortable with the contrast at 68.

This is more to the original directors intent of the image. The MP shot is horrible in many ways. Now if someone wants to show off how poor you can make a image look, I have a turd trophy for Mike! Very Happy How about that Red in their eyes on Mikes shot! There is simply no way to ascertain what is being accomplished vs a screen cap.

I've always said, screen shots prove absolutely nothing, yet they are the longest running thread on every forum out there. I've asked every modder that's ever posted here to provide data: 'scope traces and frequency response tests for before and after pix, and to my knowledge, no one has ever done it.
