Great shots guys. Mad Max has a very different look to it, very rich in colour.

Now only if Greg would stop posting those huge images we'll be able to see the shots without searching for them.

And for anyone who figured out how to read this, you know any posted shots on this page would require you scrolling to the right to find the posted shots.. Rolling Eyes

I did the same as the shots on the previous page. Not sure what changed the way they loaded.

Not you your shots are fine. That other Greg who keep posting those oversized shots that screw-up the entire page, and makes everything else look funny.

OK, I now see why my shots are off the screen. Mike from these screen shots I posted can you tell what the video chain is looking like?
I have no way of measuring. I make changes to the Barco video chain and look for improvements by eye. Things like looking into the tube and comparing noise level of before and after. Chasing a liquid looking picture with deep rich blacks and clean sharp whites.

It's really hard to tell what the shots look when the page is expanded. An expanded page affects the smaller shots.

I use the shots to determine where I am with the mods, and that's why I've been posting them and some keep asking about the colors being off or setup issues. There are things that can be revealed in the shots I'll not notice on the screen itself.

But for now , or until the page gets back to normal size (not stretched) it's harder to capture what it would really look like

I did a couple of 1:1 shots. Only using a media player attached to the VP50. The player is a little noisy but the 1:1 look pretty good. 1080p@60.

Thanks Greg,
These are with AD8009 op-amps on the switcher and driver in place of the hfa1100.
1Ghz but the slew rate is twice as good. I added more filtering as per the spec sheet.
Very happy with the results. Next I will try replacing the hfa1100 on the neck board but I don't think I could get it much better than its looking now. But it's fun trying. My wife has worked me out. I enjoy playing with it and making mods more than I enjoy watching it.
I am now playing with the 1292. Iwill post some screen shot of the 1292 once I sort it out.

Try to get this thread back on track, by getting away from those large posted shots that expands the pages.
