Hi Kal,

I send a PM, (or recieve) BUT when I "reply to" the original text is not there - usually as a quote on other forums...

So I kind of loose the flow of what I was saying to someone....

Have I missed a "quote in reply" box???

Thanks,

Andy H.

Yup. There's a quote button you missed. Try it again and see!

OK, could you maybe make the button a "default" setting........

Ive just had a few PM's to and fro with Curt and I think it a good idea if it could be set.....

(Curt like me does not know about it as neither of us have been "quoting")

Cheers,

Andy H.

I'll look into it...

One reason they do it is so that the messages don't get CRAZY long by auto-quoting every time...

I agree that there's probably a better sol'n though.

Andy: I've changed things slightly so that when you hit "Reply" you automatically quote the previous message every time.

I also remove the "quote" button as it's no longer required now (to make things less confusing).

If you want to not qutoe someone's previous message, simply remove the text.

This is the way that email works in general. Makes more sense to me.

Kal
