And Clarence but mainly for my old friend draganm. This came in the shop the other day. A minty Thorens TD 160 with two head shells (in the white box). Not sure why I want to want to keep it but I do. I only have one album and it's new and I don't want to open it.

Great turntable, worth a good penny these days.

Thanks!
One of the head shells has an Audio Technica TM5 cartridge with a trashed stylus. I just noticed this morning that there's a Shure M91ED cartridge in the box. Think the the stylus is OK. I'll have to check it out when I get home.
Back in the '70s I had a Shure V15 version III I think. V15 something. I might have to get one for old times sake.

I had a Shure V15 type IV back in the day too! Mounted on a Infinity Black Widow tonearm on, if I remember right, a Kenwood KD-550 direct-drive concrete (actually composite resin) plinth turntable.
I have no idea what that set up would be worth today, but you can buy the parts separately on eBay for about $1500…
