Hi, I have a BG 808s, and rather sadly, it seems the splitter has failed.
Why do I think this? On power up there is large crack noise and the body of the splitter flashes white under the potting compound. EHT instantly drops and that is pretty much the end of it. The projector had been getting worse over time, often the EHT would drop after half an hour (along with a crack noise from within) but it is now failing straight away.

I really don't want to scrap the projector just yet. It is otherwise still really good, and has essentially zero wear on the tubes. So, anyone anywhere on this fair planet got one?
