Heard a lot about this over the years but have never got around to watching it. It's a spoof of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

It's incredibly low-budget and cheesy. It cracked me up when I was in college, but I just watched 10-15 minutes of it and I thought "Geeze what garbage..." Laughing

I had never heard of it until a local guy I was getting some CD-ROM's off of told me about it.

NEXT UP, my favorite: HARDWARE WARS!

Yeah it was John Carpenter's school project, and then they stretched it out to a longer movie.

Hardware Wars! Hahaha, I haven't thought of that one in years. That was another one that made the circuit of SF cons in the 70's. The Narrator was Paul Frees, who did a LOT of voiceover roles including the Narrator for the Rocky & Bullwinkle show. Smile

no way, it's subtle but brilliant

"sorry your request for radiation shielding has been denied, there have been budget cuts but we're sure you'll understand. Keep up the good work men" .

Good movies are more true today then when they were made

Let's not forget Bruce Dern in Silent Running.
