What a nice guy I am !
I have a customer who has a G90 with a cracked green tube, and potential Ya board issues, the on screen menus are jittery. Craig Rounds can fix that if you want.
I haven't seen the set in 5 years, we did diagnostics over the phone.
If you're in the Seattle area, or are willing to drive there to collect it, you can apparently have it. Email me for the contact info.
Not sure if it's off the ceiling or not, you may want to bring a couple of ladders and a body to help cart it away.
I just don't have a need for the set at this point.
thanks!

Sounds like a bad IC421 if the menus are unstable. Probably worth confirming as Craig can't fix boards with IC421 failures. That said I think he's pff loading some good YA's although not cheap.

I sent him one with unstable menus once, and I believe that it was a different cure, as he managed to fix it.

Yes, it would be worth knowing if the adjustments are inactive too. Seems IC421 failure can result in several different symptoms. Similarly there can be be other causes too as you say for shaky menus. I had a short on my YA that resulted in remote power on failure, a shift in blue convergence and ultimately error 88. All at different times over a period of several months. Are the shaky menus and green tube implosion connected?

No, not related. anyway, I personally have no interest, and put it up if anyone has interest. The successful taker can source a tube and/or send the Ya board in for service if they want.

Yeah, I can probably fix that YA board. I also have G90 mounted green tubes available new and used.
Best,
