Got this playing on the G90 at the moment. Awesome production. Even on big screen you don't get an idea of how big the Saturn V was, until you see it in person. I got goosebumps during the lift-off sequence. Hard to believe they achieved so much in 8 years from zero. Nothing but admiration for the astronauts.

Watched this last night on 1080p Blu-ray. The quality of the 70mm footage (when full screen) is simply amazing. In a way I'm kind of pissed off that this sort of quality has existed so long but is now only being released! As wanderer mentioned there's clearly many other different formats used too and they'll often show content in split screen with 2-3 windows (or even more) to lower the resolution requirements.
I loved how a lot of the sequences you may already be familiar with were shown in real time without cuts or edits. Fascinating stuff.

That's my assumption and what they mention in the description:
"The film consists solely of archival footage, including 70 mm film that was previously unreleased to the public..."
I've probably seen upwards of 100 different documentaries around the race to the moon (focused on the Mercury/Gemini/Apollo programs) and there's always been a lot of repetition of what I assumed was stock footage as I'd keep seeing the same stuff over and over. Some of the stuff seen here however is stuff I don't remember ever seeing.

Yes, much of the footage was new to me and the timeline presentation made it unique. Such a shame there are so many conspiracy theorists out there claiming it was just one big hoax.

We need to get them all near the edge of their flat earth in the hopes that they trip and fall off.
