Does anybody have parts for a Barco 800 ? Have a red scan fail light and suspect horizontal board 761766 and/or vertical board 761768. Thanks

Has anybody attempted to repair one of these boards when no replacements are available? I have changed a few resistors and zeners (z6, z303, z305) in the scan fail circuit on the horizontal board without any success. I still have a red scan fail light, the HTHD light is out, and the D23 led "hold down" on the horizontal board is lit. This seems to be a common failure on Barco 800, I am hoping someone has resolved it and can give me some guidance before my theater retires to a fourth bedroom.

Thanks

On the V boards, it's usually the output chips, on the H board it's usually the MOSFET transistors. Best thing is to use an oscilloscope for the chips to see if they are outputting the vertical sweep, with the H board, just test the MOSFETS on the heatsink for shorts.
