Hi,

When I hanged my BG 1209s on the ceiling last week I lost the on screen indication of contrast and brightness levels.

This thing happened in the past also with BG 808 but all the other times switching off and on the unit made it working again.

Has someone experienced a similar problem?

Thanks,
Alberto

Loose wire connection? Or possible corrosion on a connector contact point. These units are getting old and connectors can and do suffer over time depending on the environment.

Hit the "Text" button on the remote.

Right the first time Hulio!

I touched the TEXT button to change the input of screen width and never realised that hide the contrast and brightness bars.
I should have read the entire user manual first!

Many thanks and happy new year to everybody!

It took me at least an hour to figure that out the first time. Smile

Useful in places like planetariums, where you don't want to interrupt deep space with a BRIGHTNESS logo! Smile
