Hey guys,
Before I recycle some of these components, I thought I'd post them here in case anyone needs parts for their Marquee 8500. I originally bought it from Curt many moons ago and it served me well. A few upgrades since then:
1. Most interesting would be the CLM and VNBs which were modded by MP.
2. ACON unit and board
3. The HD144 lenses are in good shape and I have the custom mounts (from Joust, I think?). These are heavy though, likely costly to ship.
** Updated Jan 3, 2018 - Control Board, Upper Motherboard and IR Sensor no longer available.
Pictures of everything + the HVPS, LVPS, ACON, Backplane etc is here:

I'm located in Winnipeg, Canada.
If interested, shoot me a PM, otherwise I'll recycle at the end of Jan 2019.

I don't recognize the work done on the VNB's, although i did sell a set of MP modded VNB's not too long ago that looked like that.
sad to see another CRT going down,
recently installed a JVC DILA at a customers house , X5900 , about $4K with tax and chief ceiling mount. IT was really pretty disappointing for that kind of money, mosquito noise, color issues, blockiness, motion pixelation, etc. I was really surprised, doesn't look like they made much if any progress on this over the last 10 years in the picture quality. The claimed lamp-life was really good though, and it was quiet.
all in all a $900. picture IMO, not $4K.

Good eye, DraganM - I went back through my PM's and you sold me some MP modded VNBs to get me out of a bind back in 2016.
I'll correct my post for clarity!

Sorry, I have no idea. Happy to send pictures / dimensions etc if that will help. Maybe someone on the main forum would know?

I posted on the main forum and found out that they are incompatible. I hope you find a buyer soon, since they are a fantastic upgrade for an 8" air coupled Marquee!
