I haven't watched my pj in probably six months. I don't have it set up.

Will you ever have a theater? You've certainly had enough projectors over the years!

I don't have enough theaters for the projectors I have. I could start a small 12-plex and have two spares left over.

Well, I do have the one that's set up and it's working just fine. I've watched 3 movies in the last week.
I have (admittedly tentative) plans to hang two G90s and blend them.

I haven't watched a movie in a year either. I have watched a few sporting events and tv show but with 13 month and 4 week old babies I just don't have time. I'm looking forward to watching Frozen and Finding Nemo over and over when they are old enough.

Of course I'd have to bring along a truck load of stuff for him just because |
And you'd probably be bringing a truckload back to your place, Jeremy. I can see it already, projectors falling off the back, skewed across the highway all the way to your house. |
How's it goin' guys? Did Nash make it away without buying half your gear?

Nash, his friend, (and the G90 ) made it here safe and sound . He stuck around for about a half hour and went to the hotel. Aside from the mosquito attack we were under, it was great to meet him! We never made it into the house, but he did spot some audio equipment through the window.
The only thing he took is a Bang & Olufsen Beocenter 7000, and the Yamaha B2 amplifier (The B&O for his trip, the yammy for the G90). Had he gone inside I'm sure he would have left with one or 2 more things
It was a great visit, even for as short as it was, and I'm glad to have had the chance to meet him in person!
Oh, and since this is in the CRT section, I'll pop a pic of the G90 tomorrow

Yes, G90s are beautiful machines. The best looking of all CRT projectors.
Especially if you give them a custom paint job.

LOL, that is a good question. Probably not. The best I will have may be a living room theater. As of late, I haven't cared that much. If I could get a 7 foot wide OLED for $3000, then I would leave projection behind. That may be within the next five years.
LG had a booth last year at Cedia with a bunch of OLEDs on the wall. I don't think anyone who walked by wasn't amazed. Rocco stared at them for a long time and said that was his next big purchase. For CRT owners, you can't help but be shocked by the black level.

I don't think the word restraint fits into your vocabulary Jeremy
As promised, a pic of the G90! (with moome 1.3, ceiling mount, and remote)
Again, a BIG thanks to Nash, and his friend Chris for helping with the G90!!! You guys are great! Hope you enjoy the Harley Museum! |
Interesting that the coating on the green lens have a different tint.

There's some variation in the reflected color of the Mg2F coating on some lenses. I've seen that, too. It doesn't have any effect
on transmitted color reproduction.
