|
|
I have a Maxivideo DMP2000DCX. When I got it only s-video worked. I played around with it for a while,
then I tried to fix the RGB input.
I just looked like a bad BNC connector/solder so I fixed that, but after reassembling nothing worked
Well, I have testpatterns and menues, but no video input.
Maybe information about it could be something to put on curtpalme.com . I took pictures (can take more),
have scanned manuals etc if someone want to write about it in for example "CRT Projector FAQs, Tips, Manuals"
If anyone need parts for this type of CRT, let me know. Maybe the tubes or lenses can be used on other 7" CRT,
but the rest I don't know. Maybe spare parts for my own 7" Barco or 7" Electrohome.
This was several years ago and now it is time to get rid of it I think. I will keep if for a while longer, then
it will be recycled.

It may be the only one left in existence! I am sure I've never seen, or even heard of, another one like it before.

If you're going to get rid of it, I'd take the lens caps. I'm very short on them. Apparetly noone liked to keep them.

These may be Sony SD-187 tubes, used in many ES focusing projectors. They could also be Toshiba tubes, used in very few projectors.

From the inside this machine looks exactly the same as the RCF LS6200 LD, it should have sony tubes.

It is a Seleco projector, I had a few new in the box here a bunch of years ago, and I sold them all to the UK. The set has 16:9 wear on the blue and green tubes, making it worthless. I would take it to the recycler, sorry!

I have new tubes for that. SD-187s. They'll drop right in.
If you actually want to use the unit, and want to replace the worn tubes, let me know. Shipping will probably cost more than you'll pay for the tubes.

Thank you for the offer, but I don't think I will spend time or money on this machine.
I actually found my own posting in 2013 on curtpalme about this machine.

I had forgotten about that
