With crt's nearing their end of life, I was wondering if you plan to sell any bulb projectors in the future?

TV/Projector: All of them!

No, not at all. Keep in mind that late model (2000+ year) Marquees are less than 20 years old, and are showing no signs of age related failures, and heck, even BArco 1209/909 sets aren't showing signs of age yet. I'm using my two 909s on the ceiling about 2 hours a day, and I'll bet they'll be there for 10+ more years.

Heck, even your 1272 should now be 23+ years old, and it's still going. Typical for Sonys.

You can only shop digital projectors on price alone, so there's no point in me getting into them. I can't offer any level of customer service better than anyone else, and since you can't service digitals, there's no point in selling them.

With the recent CRT mods interest, sales this fall appear to be at about a 5 year high, so I'd be surprised if I wasn't still doing CRT to some degree in 10 years from now.

That's good to hear.
My original 1272 had that weird tube burn after 18 years, So I replaced it with the spare 1272 I had stored away
Amazing how sharp the new set looks compared to the old one. Low hour unit, like 1400 hours on it.
