Wondering what any of you current/former Ruby & VW200 owners might know about these 2 projectors, specifically what the differences between them are? I know the VW200 has LCoS Panel shift and a higher contrast ratio, but other than that is that all?

Reason for asking is I've got 2 Ruby's and a VW200 here, the rubys work, but are very badly damaged as far as cosmetics go. The VW200 is in really nice shape, but has some sort of error that I haven't as of yet been able to track down (and thats after a complete power supply rebuild from water damage!)

It's been a long time, but my recollection is the VW100 was one of those "before its time projectors". The VW200 is a newer, more modern projector. Brighter, better contrast, and one big difference is that 200 displayed a 1080p/24 input; the VW100 didn't. Yuck. I think it calibrated a little better, too. That's about all I can remember.

FYI, a local seller has a working VW100 for sale. It's been listed for months, and the price has come down at least a couple of times. He's at $275 now. Let me know if that's anything you'd be interested in. I'd be glad to help.

Cheers,
SC
